How This Website Works

1. Books

The books listed on ‘About this website’ are being written simultaneously chapter by chapter, each with integrated illustrations.
Customers may order each chapter as it is completed, using the PayPal menu.
Each chapter, complete with appropriate illustrations, will then be available on line for the purchaser to read at any time.
Prelims – that is, title page, cancellation page, Dedication, Contents, Acknowledgments and Introduction – are free of charge. The same applies to Indeces and Bibliographies, but not to Appendices.
Once a chapter has been purchased, corrections, revisions and updates shall incur no extra cost.
Each book, once completed, will also be available as an e-book or as a hard copy using print on demand.

2. Articles

Individual articles cannot be ordered in the same way as book chapters. Instead, they will be added to the website as and when complete and all can be accessed at any time subject to a fee payable monthly, quarterly or annually.

3. Image bank

Illustrations – photographs, drawings, paintings and maps – will appear on this website with complete captions but will be watermarked to prevent misuse.
Clean copies can be ordered by authors, researchers and publishers using PayPal; they will be e-mailed at high-resolution.

4. Book reviews

Short reviews can be accessed on-line in the same way as articles.

Terms and conditions

All books, articles, reviews and images are subject to copyright and should not be reproduced in any form or distributed by any means to third parties. Books, articles and reviews are for the use of the purchaser (‘end user’) only; images are sold for single use in a specific book or article. Purchasers (‘end users’) automatically enter into this agreement when placing their order, and any use outside that specified above, including sharing, shall be construed as infringement and breach of contract.
